Assistant Commissioner (AC) of National Capital and Crime Prevention (NCCP), Mr. Simpson Pogeava, emphasized the importance of collaboration between community leaders and law enforcement during this critical period. He underscored that while citizens have exercised their voting rights, it is now time for elected representatives to shape the new government and elect a Prime Minister to lead the nation for the next four years.

Pogeava urged attendees to steer clear of any illegal gatherings aimed at disrupting the electoral process. He specifically addressed the youth, advising them to refrain from engaging in anti-social behaviors that could potentially lead to unrest in the communities. Additionally, he encouraged parents to have open dialogues with their children or wards, emphasizing the importance of steering clear of unlawful activities.

Reiterating the RSIPF’s commitment to maintaining peace and order, AC NCCP Mr. Pogeava affirmed that the police force remains impartial and does not align with any political party. He assured the community that law enforcement will continue to uphold security and safeguard the welfare of both communities and essential infrastructure.
