Former Speaker Peter Aoraunisaka re-elected to 10th Guadalcanal Provincial Assembly

FORMER Speaker Peter Aoraunisaka has secured re-election to the 10th Guadalcanal Provincial Assembly (GPA), marking a continuation of his dedicated service to the province.

According to a statement from the Guadalcanal Province media, Aoraunisaka, who previously held the position of Speaker from 2019 to 2024 in the 9th GPA, brings a wealth of experience to his renewed mandate.

Prior to his tenure as Speaker, Aoraunisaka served as the Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) for Birao from 2014 to 2019 and notably held the position of Deputy Premier in the Veke-led Government. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated unwavering commitment to public service, diligently representing the interests of Guadalcanal’s constituents.

Aoraunisaka’s re-election underscores the trust and confidence bestowed upon him by the people of Guadalcanal Province. His proven leadership and dedication to fostering development on the largest island in the country have earned him respect and admiration across the region.
