TULAGI police have arrested a 40-year-old male person for a stabbing incident recently in Tulagi township.
Supervising Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Senior Sergeant (SSgt) Linda Iro said the incident has occurred between two brothers.
Supervising PPC Iro said the motive behind the stabbing incident is that the elder brother told his younger brother to bring back home his six-year-old son, who slept on the table at the pub, and later he can join them.
PPC Iro said the suspect got angry with what the victim said, grabbed the victim, and stabbed him with a screwdriver. The suspect was later arrested and dealt with. Tulagi police process the suspect’s court documents for his appearance next year, 2025.
