Despite a modest attendance of just five enthusiasts, the event was filled with promise and enthusiasm for the future of cigars in the Solomon Islands.
Convened by Jake Sanders, editor of World Cigar News, the meeting set the stage for what club members hope will become a regular celebration of fine cigars, relaxation, and contemplation. Plans are already afoot to organize regular gatherings, with discussions revolving around securing imports of premium cigars into the Solomons and exploring the potential for local manufacturing.
