THE Provincial Police Commanders (PPCs) and the Departmental Directors (DDs) of the Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) will commence its end-of-year 2025 conference at Rove police headquarters.
The conference will start today (27 October 2025) with an official launching of the RSIPF Strategic Direction 2026-2036.
Director of the Strategy and Policy Department of RSIPF, Chief Superintendent Hudson Mala, said the conference commences on 27 October 2025 and will finish on 31 October 2025.
Director Mala said the conference gathers all the PPCs and DDs of RSIPF to look back on its yearly action plan and look into the new RSIPF Strategic Direction 2026-2036.
Chief Superintendent Mala said during the conference PPCs and DDs will be introduced into the new RSIPF 10-year Strategic Direction framework 2026-2036.
“From the framework, there will be discussions and consultations into identifying strategies to improve the operational aspects of the RSIPF for the implementation of the new strategic framework,” he said.
The purpose of the conference is to bring together PPCs and DDs to:
- Attribute the RSIPF’s new 10-year strategic direction 2026-2036 to an annual business plan (ABP) 2026 and work with each PPC and director to develop their 2026 work action plans aligning to the ABP 2026 framework.
- Consult and receive portfolio feedback and updates on implementation of the 2025 ABP and prepare an effective operation path into the new 2026 ABP.
- Discuss and introduce all directors and commanders to the new strategic direction monitoring and evaluation framework and its new reporting template.
- Updates from RSIPF Finance on RSIPF budgeting and procurement processes.
