White House National Security Council to visit Solomon Islands

High level delegation from White House will visit Solomon Islands today.

Dr. Kurt Campbell, President Bidenโ€™s U.S. National Security Council Coordinator for the Inso-Pacific will lead the delegation which consist of United Stateโ€™s top officials.

Dr. Campbellโ€™s delegation is a whole-of-government delegation, that includes U.S. Agency for International Development Assistant Administrator for Asia Michael Schiffer, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau Of East Asian And Pacific Affairs Mark Lambert, U.S. Coast Guard Commander for Oceania Rear Admiral Michael Day.

According to their travel itinerary, the delegation will meet with Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare and at the same time discuss some of the subjects that would draw a fine line in the effort to achieve Americaโ€™s strategic plans for the Solomon Islands.
