A flight bound for Brisbane on the afternoon 4th February has been delayed for about two hours due to the late arrival of a flight attendant.

Government officials present at the Honiara International Airport expressed their disappointment, deeming the incident unprofessional.

Solomon Airlines is urged to conduct an investigation into the reasons behind the staff’s tardiness. The fact that passengers were left waiting for two hours reflects poorly on the organization.

Even the Caretaker Prime Minister was present at the airport to bid farewell to Governor General Sir, who was traveling to Australia for a medical check-up. The flight was originally scheduled to depart around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday February 4th.

The untimely arrival of the air hostess was met with dissatisfaction, particularly considering the inconvenience caused to the Governor General of the Solomon Islands. The necessity to wait for the flight attendant prolonged the delay before the plane could take off, creating a situation that was far from ideal.

According to a government official in the VIP lounge during the wait, Solomon Airline staff confirmed that the primary cause of the delay was the late arrival of the air hostess.
